Want to improve your photography then do not miss “Don’t Take the P”. There will be 9 sessions (usually the second Thursday each month) run by Greg Taylor, photographer for the Gazette/Chronicle, to help members take more control of their cameras, moving away from the auto settings, developing an understanding of how their cameras work and what they need to do to take good photographs. There will be optional homework and assignments, and it is hoped that by the end of the nine sessions those participating will be well on their way to creating a panel of photographs which could be used for submission either to the Royal Photographic Society for LRPS assessment or to the Photographic Alliance of GB for an Award of Photographic Merit.
