Royal Photographic Society
The Royal Photographic Society was founded in 1853 'to promote the Art and Science of Photography', a mission it continues to this day in the United Kingdom and through its considerable overseas membership. Membership is open to everyone interested in photography: be they amateur or professional, artist or scientist, young or old.
Western Counties Photographic Federation (WCPF)
The WCPF was founded in 1932 and is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB). The Federation is made up of 98 clubs and societies covering a large geographical area. The WCPF extends from Stroud in the North West across to Swindon in the North East, due South down to Weymouth and all counties right down to Lands End in Cornwall.
